Small business is the backbone of the world economy, and in the US alone there are more than 5 million small businesses. While these businesses can be simple to manage at the outset, as they grow they can quickly increase in complexity. Growing small businesses often face the same challenges of large enterprises—conducting business via the Internet, providing great customer service, managing complex product inventory and logistics, tracking sales efforts, and scaling IT resources for increased transaction load.
