Web Store: Today, customers demand a personalised online shopping experience. NetSuite provides Web store capabilities that help virtually any business to create a dynamic and personalised online store. Integration with inventory, accounting, sales and support departments enables your company to offer customers a rich Web experience—without using costly IT resources.

WEB STORE FEATURES: 


Item Coupons/Discounts:
NetSuite creates coupons or discounts that are only valid on certain items, or alternatively that are valid on all items except a few specified items. For instance, you can have a 10% off coupon only good for glass items, or a 20% off promotion good for everything except new arrivals.




Multiple Web Store Management:
NetSuite allows you to create as many separate web stores as you want — and manage all the stores in one single, integrated account, maintaining one consistent set of operations and greatly improving efficiency. Each store can have its own product set, domain name, branding, look and feel, shopping rules, store-specific shopping carts and "my account" areas for customers. Within the different stores, you can sell the same or totally different products, provide country-specific language and currency for each web store, and track and report on sales activities on each web store individually. All the while, you maintain one integrated back office system to efficiently manage cross-store operations and consolidate all your ecommerce business activities.




Automated Upsell Recommendations:
You can display automatic upsell and cross-sell recommendations based on what other customers have purchased. You can display either the automatic recommendations, or you can set manual upsell recommendations, or both. You can also display upsell recommendations on the Shopping Cart page.




Electronic File/Software Download:
You can now sell downloadable files. You can create items for sale that have files attached to them. When the item is purchased, the customer has the right to download the file(s) from the Customer Centre's new "My Downloads" area.

If the downloaded file requires a license or unlock code, enter the information into the order and the code will display to the customer in the My Downloads area.




Gift Certificates:
You can now sell Gift Certificates online, and accept Gift Certificate payments on your website. The Gift Certificate can be sold for either a fixed price amount, or you can allow the shopper to choose the value of the certificate.

When a shopper buys a Gift Certificate for another person, an e-mail is automatically sent to the recipient with the information from your Web store.

When a shopper redeems a Gift Certificate, they can purchase less than the total amount of the certificate, and keep a remainder on it for future use.

If their purchase exceeds the value of the certificate, they can pay for the difference with a credit card or Paypal per the available payment processing methods.




End-to-End Order Management:
NetSuite eliminates the manual transfer of customer orders from your Web store, saving money and reducing time to fulfillment. Orders automatically flow to your accounts receivables and warehouse departments. And with integrated shipping functionalities from FedEx and UPS, you can provide real-time shipping rates, print shipping labels, automatically associate shipment tracking numbers to sales orders, and provide tracking numbers to your customers for 24/7 tracking.




Web Analytics:
NetSuite's analytic features tie traditional Web metrics with transaction data and specific customer activity data. The reports tell you not only how your customers found you, but also measure the ROI of your referrers and search engine keywords. The reports tell you not only which pages are most frequently visited, but gives you insight into site traffic and cart abandonment.



Integrated Inventory Management:
With NetSuite's integrated inventory management capabilities, changes in the back office are automatically reflected in your Web store. You can display real-time inventory levels and check if items are out of stock, track inventory down to the sub-item level, and receive automatic notification upon reaching re-order points. NetSuite also lets you offer volume discounts, provide different price levels for sub-item options, and extend special pricing offers to specific customers.



Customer Service and Self-Service:
Increase customer loyalty while reducing customer support costs with NetSuite's integrated customer service tools. Using NetSuite's customer service software application, customers can log in anytime to view their order histories, track packages, request refunds or view quotes. Customers can also use the customer service software application to submit trouble tickets while reviewing responses to their previous inquiries, or read through a published knowledge base.



PayPal Integration:
PayPal is known as the easiest and most intuitive payment method on the web. The NetSuite integration with PayPal allows small and midsize companies to accept different forms of payments during the checkout process, using industry-leading fraud-prevention technology. When a customer completes PayPal checkout, a sales order is created in NetSuite with a status of Pending Approval and flagged as Pending PayPal Authorisation.
