LONDON and SAN MATEO, Calif.—27 October, 2011 —NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced that its UK-based customers have voted NetSuite as the winner in Best Enterprise Accounting & Finance Software at Sift Media's Software Satisfaction Awards 2011. UK users chose NetSuite over Sage Software, among others, to award NetSuite the Enterprise Accounting & Finance crown. The award comes on the heels of a host of companies voting with their Pound Sterling by moving from Sage to NetSuite (/portal/au/press/releases/nlpr10-18-11.shtml). Among those companies switching from Sage to NetSuite were The Arboricultural Association, Emarket.com, and iNexus, who have abandoned Sage's on-premise offering in favour of NetSuite's cloud solution. Hundreds of other companies have also made the switch. "We constantly strive to improve NetSuite's functionality to better serve the needs of our enterprise users and address the unique challenges of UK businesses and this award shows that our efforts have paid off. We extend our thanks to all of our customers in the UK for their continued support, and look forward to many more years of success together."
Sift Media, a leading business to business publisher in the UK, established the Software Satisfaction Awards in 2006 to reward high standards from software application providers serving British businesses. The awards are based on the views of genuine buyers and end users of business software applications—not those of a judging panel. This year, Sift has partnered with Intellect, the association representing the UK's technology industry, adding further credibility and reach to the awards.
