In particular, Land O'Lakes is implementing NetSuite OneWorld as a two-tier deployment for subsidiaries in multiple international locations while maintaining on-premise ERP systems at the corporate level, as NetSuite OneWorld is designed to deliver real-time global business management and financial consolidation to companies with multi-national and multi-subsidiary operations coupled with a rapid speed of implementation. Other companies, such as Girl Scouts of the USA, are embracing the NetSuite "Commerce as a Service" initiative and the SuiteCommerce platform, which combines a state-of-the-art Web storefront with a central system to manage all B2C and B2B transactions across many touchpoints, including websites, smart phones, tablets, social media and physical point of sale (POS). Operating directly on the core NetSuite ERP/CRM business management application, SuiteCommerce transcends the limitations and complexity of first-generation Ecommerce systems to enable merchants to streamline business processes, build relationships with built-in marketing tools and immerse customers in a richly interactive and intuitive shopping experience.

Land O'Lakes (www.landolakes.com), based in Arden Hills, Mich., one of America's premier member-owned cooperatives, is deploying NetSuite OneWorld to eliminate disparate systems, streamline operations and power international growth. While the corporate headquarters is utilizing Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its core ERP platform, Land O'Lakes will implement NetSuite OneWorld in a two-tier ERP deployment for a number of subsidiaries and joint ventures in the United States, Mexico, and China. NetSuite OneWorld will be the standard multi-national, multi-currency ERP solution for its domestic and international subsidiaries, and joint ventures. Looking not only to address short-term operational needs but also to ensure a stable, scalable platform for future growth, Land O'Lakes, with 9,000 employees and serving over 900,000 agricultural producers, turned to NetSuite OneWorld as a two-tier approach to augment its existing corporate ERP software investments. Girl Scouts of the USA (www.gsusa.org), headquartered in New York City with 2.3 million girl members and 900,000 adult volunteers, is implementing NetSuite SuiteCommerce to power a new nationwide ecommerce website expected to drive large gains in merchandise sales, customer engagement, brand awareness and business efficiency. The organisation has also deployed NetSuite for inventory and warehouse management, distribution and analytics. NetSuite will replace a legacy on-premise wholesale distribution application, a custom-built ecommerce storefront, and a standalone reporting tool, meeting Girls Scouts' requirements for a completely integrated cloud solution. The new SuiteCommerce platform replaces about 65 individual ecommerce websites run by regional Girl Scouts councils, while 47 councils without a storefront will have one for the first time. "The biggest draw of NetSuite is that it's fully integrated, from the storefront to the back office—we were definitely in the market for an all-encompassing solution," said Barry Horowitz, Vice President and General Manager, Girl Scouts Merchandise. PT. Prisma Resources (Alumex) (www.grdsteel.com) is a subsidiary of Gunung Steel Group, the second-largest steel manufacturer/fabricator in Indonesia, with capacity to produce 1.95 million tons of steel annually. PT. Prisma Resources is deploying NetSuite OneWorld to introduce new efficiencies and visibility into its core business of buying, processing and selling coals. NetSuite will be used for financial accounting, tracking of contracts, quality control of coals delivered, and booking of vessels and cargo.
