Mid-sized enterprises save millions of dollars with NetSuite™

Orlando, FL—Gartner Midsize Enterprise Summit—April 29, 2003—NetLedger, Inc., makers of Oracle® Small Business Suite, today announced that NetSuite, its award-winning online business management solution, has gained rapid adoption by mid-sized businesses and divisions of large enterprises. NetSuite integrates front office, back office and online operations, delivering automated business management processes at a fraction of the cost for traditional, non-integrated software solutions. The Oracle Small Business Suite name is used under license from Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL).

"Mid-size companies spend hundreds of thousands of dollars tying together an accounting system from one vendor with CRM software from another vendor," said Zach Nelson, president and CEO of NetLedger. "NetSuite, by integrating complete ERP and CRM functionality in a single, easy-to-use application, eliminates these costs completely. It is gratifying to see our customers save so much money with our solution."

A recent USA TODAY article highlighted such enormous cost savings when speaking about NetLedger customer DuPont AirProducts NanoMaterials: "When Bob Grashoff, CEO of DuPont AirProducts NanoMaterials, needed accounting software last year, he considered SAP. But rolling out SAP would take a year or longer, and Grashoff needed something quick for 70 employees doing $20 million in annual revenue. He signed with NetLedger to provide accounting services over the Internet for $100,000 a year. Grashoff figures he saved more than $500,000 by not having to set up an in-house SAP system." Alpha Thought Global, Inc., (www.alphathought.com), and its affiliates, an 800-employee medical billing firm, based in Chicago, IL, has seen immediate benefits. Andrew Johnson, CFO of Alpha Thought touted, "We have saved more than $200,000 in annual salaries just for choosing NetSuite. With Web-based NetSuite, our accountant can handle four remote sites from a single location. Otherwise, I would need a body at every site. I also have zero need for in-house IT support and maintenance." He continued, "I looked at SAP, but NetSuite had all the functionality I needed at a much lower price." WildPackets, Inc., (www.wildpackets.com), a 100-employee technology company, based in Walnut Creek, CA, found NetSuite after its office burnt down, destroying the company's IT infrastructure. Mahboud Zabetian, president and co-founder of WildPackets, Inc. said, "The fire was a mixed blessing. It kicked us out of our old system and gave us something that works. We had invested a few hundred thousand dollars worth of our own time getting the previous systems to work together. NetSuite's front- and back-office features were already integrated in one application. More importantly, NetSuite has saved us $250,000 on implementation and $500,000 in ongoing savings from avoided hardware and headcount costs."
