NetSuite Giving

NetSuite Giving is NetSuite's new philanthropic arm. Our goal is to support groups that generate positive social impact. We donate the NetSuite software — a single web-based platform for running an organization — and provide NetSuite employee volunteers to help organizations effectively use the donation.

Just as our software helps existing customers run their entire business better, grantees can improve organizational performance and effectively manage rapid growth. By helping grantees grow and become more effective, NetSuite helps accelerate and expand their social impact.

Increasingly, positive social impact is created by for-profit firms, as well as charities. NetSuite Giving recognizes this, and we award product donations to both charities and for-profit firms. The common requirement across all grantees is that they articulate and measure their social impact.

NetSuite Giving has launched three pilot programs targeting three types of organizations:

• Registered Charities. Charities are increasingly asked to measure, manage and report on performance and outcomes. This reporting can be easier and less of an administrative burden when financial, operations and outcome data is stored in a single, web-based system like NetSuite.
• Fair Trade / Social Enterprises. Increasingly, companies are being formed with a double bottom line — profit and social impact. NetSuite is already designed to handle the challenges of supplier management and ecommerce for businesses. These same capabilities can help Fair Trade groups measure their social impact alongside their profitability.
• Green Startups / Environmental. A multitude of green startups are being created (both for-profit firms and charities), including many addressing climate change. NetSuite can help them report on their social impact alongside their monthly financials.
