The Greater Boston Food Bank Takes Another Step Toward Ending Hunger

The Greater Boston Food Bank strives to end hunger in Eastern Massachusetts, providing food to 142,000 people in need every month. Last year, it distributed a remarkable 61 million pounds of nutritious food through 530 agencies, which include food pantries, meal programs and shelters. GBFB’s goal is to provide three meals a day to all those in need across the region.
